Uttarey is a small village near the border with Nepal in West Sikkim. The place is approximately 30 km from the popular tourist destination Pelling. From the higher ridges of the Uttarey hills you can see the view of the large mountain Kanchenjunga. Located in the western district of Sikkim, you can reach Uttarey from Pelling of Dentum. Along the way, you pass the Singshore Bridge, reportedly the second-highest bridge in Asia

How to reach Uttarey ?
You can book cab services from Siliguri to Jorethang, and from then on take another ride to Uttarey. Or you can catch a flight from Bagdogra to Pakyong Airport in Gangtok. After the landing, you can take a cab to Uttarey.
