JALDAPARA Sightseeing

Situated at the foothills of the Himalayas and on the banks of Torsa river. Because of its great variety of flora and fauna and to protect the Indian one horned rhino ceros it was declared as a wild life sanctuary in 1941 as earlier the region was known as Totopara and again in 2012 the sanctuary was declared as a national park. After Kaziranga national park, Assam this park holds the highest number of rhinos.
