How to reach ?
From New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station or Bagdogra airport, you should take either the Hill Cart Road or the Rohini Road to go towards the route of Kurseong and then go upwards towards Darjeeling. At Sonada, you will have to take the right that will eventually meet with the Chatakpur Road. Another way to reach Chatakpur is to reach Sonada first via Rambi and then followed by Jorebunglow.

Sundakphu is the place to be for trekkers and if you are into it, you will absolutely be delighted with the place. Apart from it, the sunrise from the watchtower in Chatakpur is a thing of beauty. A dense jungle is a kilometre away, and inside it, there is a pond that the locals consider a sacred place.
